Founded by four entrepreneurs with interdisciplinary agrifood experience, particularly in cellular biology, the company is addressing major sustainability challenges in global cocoa cultivation, such as deforestation and biodiversity loss risks, climate-driven production instability, child labor concerns, and higher carbon emissions than many other food sources, by leveraging technologies that can provide a more sustainable cocoa supply while aligning with growing consumer demand for environmentally friendly food choices.
