Ortho Treat

OrthoTreat is a preclinical stage company developing ModulX®—a first-in-class, ready-to-use intraoperative injectable therapy designed to improve fracture healing and reduce the risk of delayed union, non-union, and implant failure. ModulX® combines two synergistic small molecules in a controlled-release hydrogel that modulates both bone formation and resorption (OsteoRegulation). Seamlessly integrated into standard fixation workflows, ModulX® is being developed to deliver measurable improvements in union rates and reintervention outcomes in high-risk fractures. Backed by robust preclinical data and positive FDA pre-IND feedback, first-in-human trials are planned for mid-2026.
